Getting Started with LEAP Online Payments

3 simple steps

Activate

Sign up and activate your FeeWise account by completing a short application form and verifying your office or trust account details. Your FeeWise account will be activated within 24 hours of all documentation being approved.

Request Payment

Create an invoice or trust payment request in your legal practice management software and send it to your client with our click-to-pay online options embedded within.

Get Paid

Once your client makes a payment by card or pre-authorized debit, we notify you and you get paid. That's it.

Making it easier for clients to pay your firm

Clients pay their bills faster when you make payments easier. They’ll appreciate the many options to conveniently pay, through their laptop, desktop, or smartphone.

Clients can pay with major credit and debit cards

FeeWise charges 2.9% + $0.20 per transaction for Visa, Mastercard, Discover cards. 3.5% + $0.20 for Amex + specialty cards, +1.5% on international cards, and $4 flat for direct debit/eCheck payments. FeeWise does not charge a monthly subscription fee or have a lock-in contract.

Payments post back to the client matter in LEAP

After the customer enters the payment details, FeeWise processes the payment and sends the client an early payments advice email. When the payment clears, the client is paid out and the payment is automatically posted in LEAP and reconciled against the relevant invoice, trust requests, or matter statement.

How do online payments work with LEAP?

Firms can automatically generate a payment footer on all invoices, statements, and trust payment requests. Clients easily pay online via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Pre-Authorized Debit.) LEAP automatically generates receipts for the payments received.
