LEAP Legal Software has signed a two-year agreement as Principal Partner for the 2026 and 2027 ALPMA Summit + ALTACON conference, strengthening its long-standing collaboration with the Australasian Legal Practice Management Association (ALPMA) and the Australasian Legal Technology Alliance (ALTA).
The 2026 conference takes place from 9–11 September at the new Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre in Victoria, Australia. This year’s theme, “Rewind to Recharge: Accelerate into the future,” reflects a growing industry focus on balancing enduring professional principles with modern practice management innovation.
At a time when law firms are navigating increasing operational complexity, regulatory change and rising client expectations, the Summit provides a platform for practical leadership insights and technology-enabled transformation.
“We’re delighted to welcome LEAP as Principal Partner for the Business of Law Summit + ALTACON in 2026 and 2027,” said Emma Elliott, CEO of ALPMA.
“LEAP’s leadership and investment in legal practice management technology, coupled with their commitment to practical capability-building, aligns with our mission to empower and elevate professional business management leaders across Australasia.”
As Principal Partner, LEAP will continue supporting conversations around operational excellence, efficiency and sustainable growth for firms of all sizes.
“We’re thrilled to partner once again with ALPMA and ALTA for the 2026 and 2027 Summit + ALTACON, now as Principal Partner. LEAP has always been committed to empowering law firms with technology that improves efficiency, accuracy and profitability, which we believe reflect the foundational principles captured by this year’s conference theme. We’re very excited to return to the Exhibition Hall, engage with the legal community and showcase what modern practice management can achieve," says Tina Shergold, Head of LEAP Australia and New Zealand.
The ALPMA Summit + ALTACON conference brings together firm leaders, managers and technology professionals from across Australasia to explore strategies for building resilient, future-ready practices. The dedicated ALTACON technology stage ensures focused discussions around practical adoption of legal technology and digital capability development.
LEAP has worked alongside law firms for more than 30 years and has been a dedicated supporter of ALPMA and the wider legal profession across Australia. Through ongoing investment in technology innovation, education, and collaboration with industry partners, LEAP continues to help strengthen the business of law.
