Australia’s AML/CTF framework is changing. Amendments passed on 10 December 2024, also known as the Tranche 2 reforms, extend AML/CTF obligations to new professions, including solicitors and conveyancers, impacting how firms manage day-to-day practice.

AML/CTF (Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing) is Australia’s framework for preventing financial crime. It outlines the obligations businesses must meet when onboarding clients and handling transactions, including identity checks, risk assessment, ongoing monitoring, and regulatory reporting.
From the start, LEAP and InfoTrack have worked side-by-side to deliver integrated technology that empowers firms. This next chapter continues that tradition. With InfoTrack building the compliance solution and LEAP embedding it directly into your practice management, you can be confident your firm will be ready for AML/CTF reforms — well before the deadline.
The solution will follow the same disbursement model you already know with InfoTrack.
Every feature is being developed to respect the realities of Australian firms, client privilege, and local practice management.
